I recently came across this interesting Speech by Chetan Bhagat. Here are the excerpts

Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same with life, where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so worked up? It's ok, bunk a few classes, goof up a few interviews, fall in love. We are people, not programmed devices.!!!!!

कोशिश करने वालों की हार नही होती !

This is an inspirational poem from Harivanshray Bachhan. Whenever I feel low on confidence I just read it again and again.


लहरों से डरकर नौका कभी पार नही होती
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नही होती

नन्ही चिंटी जब दाना लेकर चलती है
चढ़ती दीवारों पर सौ बार फिसलती है
मनका विश्वास रागों मे साहस भरता है
चढ़कर गिरना, गिरकर चढ़ना ना आखरता है
मेहनत उसकी बेकार हर बार नही होती
मेहनत करने वालो की कभी हार नही होती,

डुबकियाँ सिंधु मे गोताखोर लगता है
जा जा कर खाली हाथ लौट कर आता है
मिले ना सहज मोती गहरे पानी मे
बढ़ता दुगना विश्वास इस हैरानी मे
मुठ्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नही होती
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नही होती,

असफलता एक चुनौती है, स्वीकार करो
क्या कमी रह गयी, देखो और सुधार करो
जब तक सफल ना हो चैन की नींद का त्यागो तुम
संघर्ष का मैदान मत छोड़ कर भागो तुम
कुछ किए बिना जयजयकार नही होती
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नही होती

The pursuit of Happyness

I always wonder what Happiness means?
Is it shopping big branded cloths?
Is it spending a 1000 bucks for a dinner?
Is it riding costly bikes?









or is it meeting your friends or sharing a joke with them?
or is it just a long walk with you best friend?

Yes you got it. Its all about having fun with friends.
Thats what I like do most of the times.
